Bernardsville Memorial Day Celebrations Are Back In Person
The day will start with a Veterans ceremony at Borough Hall, followed by the Veterans' Honor Escort at 10:45 a.m.
BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — Memorial Day will once again be celebrated in person, in Bernardsville, with a full day of events planned.
"In response to recent public information from the CDC and State of New Jersey, there are no restrictions for outdoor gatherings and masks are not required for individuals that are fully vaccinated," it says on the website of one of the organizers, Downtown Bernardsville.
It also advises that people who are not vaccinated or who simply wish to do so should still wear a mask.

The celebration will start at 10 a.m. with a Veterans ceremony at Borough Hall, followed by the Veterans' Honor Escort at 10:45 a.m.
The procession will start from Borough Hall and continue down Route 202 towards Olcott Square. It will then make a left on Church Street, head up to the high school, make a left on Olcott Avenue, another left on Anderson Hill Road and end at the Palmer Parking Lot.

Classic cars will be parked in designated spots so that Veterans can exit and make a short walk to the Amermann Lot for lunch.
At noon, there is a mural unveiling event on the Mount Airy Road Bridge.
There will be at least one food truck, Cas's Pierogi & Kielsaba, serving food from 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m. at the Amermann Lot. There will possibly be a second food truck, to be announced, according to Downtown Bernardsville.
