Car Stolen in Bernardsville, Found In Newark: Police
The car was stolen from a driveway in Mine Brook Road, from Wednesday to Thursday, according to police.
BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — A Resident of Mine Brook Road reported his car being stolen from the driveway overnight, from Wednesday to Thursday. The Keys had been left inside, according to police.
The car, a silver 2020 Lincoln Corsair, worth close to $43,000, was recovered on Thursday at around 10 a.m., in Newark.
Police are still asking residents in the area to review security camera recordings that might help the undergoing investigation and contact the department at 908-766-0037.

“Historically, Bernardsville and surrounding towns see an increase in reports of thefts of vehicles and in thefts of property from vehicles in the late spring, summer and early fall seasons," said Lieutenant John Remian. "It is important to lock vehicles and secure the keys in a secure place to prevent them from being stolen."
The Bernardsville police department is currently distributing "lock it or lose it" key chains at their headquarters.
