CycleBar To Open 1st Somerset County Location In Bernardsville

CycleBar is bringing a new way for cyclists to rock their ride in Bernardsville.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — CycleBar is bringing a new way for cyclists to rock their ride in Bernardsville.

CycleBar is opening their first Somerset County location in Bernardsville and shooting for early May to open. Currently the closest locations are in Denville, Livingston and Montclair.

What sets CycleBar apart from other cycling studios is their mission to be "extremely inclusive," General Manager of CycleBar Bernardsville Jaclyn Middlemiss told Patch.

There are no specific classes for just beginners or advanced. Instead cyclists can attend any and all classes.

"This allows people to have the option of choosing from six classes a day versus being limited to two classes," Middlemiss said.

CycleBar offers a personal performance tracking system and leader board for cyclists to compete with others in the class or just themselves. After each class the cyclist is sent their stats from the class to look at their progress.

Additionally, CycleBar has a full-service offering which provides click-in shoes, water and other services so that cyclists don’t have to come with a full gym bag, Middlemiss said.

Each class is around 45 minutes with a cool down song.

Although the studio is not officially opened, interested riders can stop by to get a tour and learn more about the memberships. Walk-ins are welcome on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m.

Unlimited memberships are also being offered now at a discounted 40 percent off.
