Revolutionary War Re-Enactors at Jacobus Vanderveer House

The Jacobus Vanderveer House is pleased to announce that Outwater’s Militia, a group of Revolutionary War re-enactors based in Bergen County, will be holding its first annual drill at the Jacobus Vanderveer House on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The original Outwater's Company was founded in Hackensack in 1777.  The reenactors group, established in 1979, strives for an accurate re-creation of the Revolutionary War unit and features civilian roles to create the full experience of the Revolutionary War period.

Visitors are welcome to witness this first-rate company in action and tour the Jacobus Vanderveer House during the event free of charge.
