Flemington Borough Council Meeting Monday In-Person And Virtual

Among the items up for discussion is the declaration of Juneteenth as a Flemington borough holiday.

FLEMINGTON, NJ — The Flemington Borough Council is meeting next Monday and the public is welcome to attend either in person, at Borough Hall, or online, via Zoom.

The June 28 meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and go directly into an executive session. The regular meeting will start at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will have moments for public comment, as usual. Comments can also be emailed to publiccomment@historicflemington.com by 3 p.m. on Monday.

The public is asked to limit email comments to 450 words.

  • Supporting the application of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Foundation seeking grant funding for the community navigator pilot program.
  • Approving a memorandum of understanding with the Hunterdon County vocational school district for a heavy equipment program.
  • Declaring Juneteenth a Flemington borough holiday
  • Authorizing Flemington's continued participation in the state local cooperative housing inspection program (SLCHIP) for certain multi-family dwellings for the period of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.
