Free Beer At New Providence Brewery For People Vaccinated in May

About two dozen breweries across New Jersey are offering a beer to those who get the COVID-19 vaccine, including one in town.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — New Jersians who get their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine in May will qualify for a free beer, being offered by dozens of breweries across the state.

One of them, Untied Brewing, is located right here in New Providence, at 140 Spring Street.

To qualify, residents 21 and over only need to show their vaccinated card as proof.

The program, "Shot and a Beer," is a partnership between the Brewer's Guild of New Jersey, the Governor's Office, and the Department of Health, meant to encourage more people to get vaccinated.
