Healthy, Happy Feet!

Did you know that April is National Foot Health Awareness Month? At Bernardsville Public Library on Monday, April 30 at 7:00 pm, we'll examine the topic of feet with Marco Ucciferri, DPM, FACFAS, a member of Summit Medical Group, and find out how healthy feet are happy feet! Learn about foot and nail care, including laser treatments for nail fungus, infections and treatments for heel and foot pain and ankle injuries.

Dr. Ucciferri has expertise in child, adolescent, and adult foot and ankle medicine, foot and ankle trauma, and reconstructive surgery. He has practiced with Foot and Ankle Care Associates of New Jersey since 2003. His hospital appointments have included Hoboken University Medical Center, Somerset Medical Center, and Surgicare of Central Jersey. Born in Italy and raised in the United States, Dr. Ucciferri says, "I became a doctor so that I can make patients feel better and help the community." He adds, "I believe in preventive health care to preempt problems before they happen." Dr. Ucciferri is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and New Jersey Society of Podiatric Medicine. He is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
