'Large Amount' Of Produce Stolen From Bedminster Farm Stand

The food was stolen Sept. 25 sometime between the late morning and 2 p.m., police said.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A "large amount" of produce was stolen from a Bedminster farm stand recently, police said.

Police officers went to the Somerset Hills Learning Institute just before 5 p.m. Sept. 25 and spoke with the principal, authorities said.

The principal told the officers that the theft occurred at the Three Meadows Farm Stand the school operates as a nonprofit fundraiser, police said.

A large amount of produce was missing between the late morning and 2 p.m., police said.

The Somerset Police Department's Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.
