Luxury Barber Shop To Host Grand Opening In Bernardsville

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — Bridgewater native Briyon LiBrizzi is literally following her roots by opening a luxury barber shop in Bernardsville on Sunday.

LiBrizzi comes from a long line of hair stylists in her family. Not necessarily men’s hair stylists but womens.

I’ve been in the industry literally my whole life,” LiBrizzi said. “All of my family members — my father, cousin, sister and more all do hair.”

LiBrizzi had always grown up working in women’s salons. She tried to avoid following her family’s legacy but eventually ended up in cosmetology school.

She initially thought she would be doing women’s hair because she grew up around it.

But LiBrizzi followed her own path and went towards men’s hair.

She started working at a high end barber shop in Bedminster before it closed. Since she had her own clinetele already she decided to take the plunge and open her own shop.

“I took the idea of a women’s salon and merged it together with a barber shop,” LiBrizzi said of her new luxury shop called The Dappermen’s Den. “It has everything for men — full service, manicures, facials, hot towel shaves, coloring, full scissor haircuts, skin tight fades, waxing and more.”

The experience takes a bit longer since they are “pampered” during the experience.

The Dappermen’s Den is located at 24 Claremont Road in Bernardsville and has its own lot. The grand opening celebrating will run from 2 to 6 p.m. complete with a red carpet lined with velvet ropes outside. There will also be a barber chair set up outside for cuts and shaves.

A bartender and hor’dourves will also be available. Additionally, the first 20 people to arrive will get a gift card.
