Meet Horror Filmmaker and Author at The Bookworm
When/Where: Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Bookworm, 99 Claremont Road, Bernardsville.
Why Go: Meet both Bernardsville native Ryan Scott Weber, who produced "Mary Horror" and "Sheriff Tom vs. The Zombies," and also Nick Kisella, who wrote the books of the same name.
Cost: Free conversation, posters and snacks, or buy novels.

Garage Sale
When/Where: Sunday at 10 a.m. at 13 Dana Place in Bernardsville.
Why Go: This resident is selling a number of different items, including a Coach diaper bag, potty chair, baby safety gates, clothes and much more.
Cost: Free, except for the cost of whatever you buy.
Caricatures by Neil McMillin
When/Where: Sunday at 11 a.m. on Route 206 in Bedminster.
Why Go: Pennsylvania native Neil McMillin has been running his own business for years with cartooning, digital painting, watercolors and much more, and he will be painting caricatures.
Cost: $8 per black and white head, and $18 per color head.
Gail Winbury’s Art and Live Music Coming to Farmstead
When/Where: Sunday at 1 p.m. at Farmstead Arts Center on King George Road in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: There will be an art exhibit of Gail Winbury’s work. She has won many awards and focuses on contemporary art with moments of strength and power, and the use of sculptural layers of color and raw forms.
Cost: Free.
Legos at the Library
When/Where: Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Bernards Township Library, 32 S. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge.
Why Go: Area children ages 5 and up are invited to bring their imaginations — and an adult. The library will provide the Legos.
Cost: Free. No registration required.
