Get your medical insurance questions answered when Bernardsville Library hosts Adria Goldman Gross, FIPC, CEO and founder of Medwise Insurance Advocacy and Medwise Billing Inc., on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:00 pm. Her talk entitled “Multi-Payer Medical Nightmare: Curing Your Medical Insurance Problems,” will give guidance on navigating the world of medical insurance and billing. Copies of her book, “Solved! Curing Your Medical Insurance Problems,” will be available for purchase with proceeds to be donated to the Library.
Ms. Gross has over 25 years of experience in the insurance business and has worked extensively with the medical community and numerous insurance companies. She helps her clients reduce medical bills, avoid overcharges and negotiate bills down to a reasonable amount. She uses her extensive combined expertise of the insurance and medical industries to act as a strong, knowledgeable advocate for those who suffer from improper medical overbilling. She is also an effective advocate for those who have been denied reimbursement for legitimate claims.
Ms. Gross began her career as a claims examiner for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, then went on to claims and underwriting for American International Group before starting MedWise Insurance Advocacy (a division of MedWise Billing, Inc.). She is certified in medical billing and medical claims consulting and is a New York State-licensed insurance broker and consultant. Ms. Gross is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Medical Billing Association, Alliance of Claims Assistance Professionals, and American Academy of Professional Coders. She also serves on the board of Insurance Professionals of Orange County (New York).
