Naomi Watts Filming Horror Movie In Bedminster: Report

Titled 'Goodnight Mommy,' the movie is a remake of an Austrian psychological thriller​.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Naomi Watts is coming to town to shoot one of her upcoming projects. Titled "Goodnight Mommy," the horror movie began filming Monday in Bedminster, according to My Central Jersey.

The producers have worked with different town entities to coordinate filming, for example with the Township Committee to inform they are building a barn to be burned down and with the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department, the news site also reported.

The movie is an American remake of an Austrian psychological thriller of the same name ("Ich seh, Ich seh" in the original language) released in 2014, according to Variety.

Watts is also taking on a producer role and the movie is being developed by Amazon Studios.

According to IMDB, this is the basic plot of the original movie: "Twin boys move to a new house with their mother after she has face-changing cosmetic surgery, but under the bandages is someone the boys don't recognize."
