This Is New Jersey's Richest ZIP Code

A New Jersey town is among the very richest communities in the country.

Bloomberg recently evaluated IRS data to come up with the nation's priciest communities. The most expensive in New Jersey? That would be 07931, which is Far Hills.

In fact, Far Hills is so expensive, Bloomberg ranked it as the 11th most-affluent ZIP code in the entire country. Far Hills, where the average income is $747K, is situated in between Bernardsville and Bedminster in Somerset County. Students in public schools attend the Somerset Hills Regional School District. Trump National Golf Club is nearby.

Currently, the highest-priced home for sale there is listed at $4.125 million. The cheapest home on the market now in Far Hills is this home, priced at $409K.

So what's the richest ZIP code in America, according to Bloomberg? That would be Fisher Island, near Miami Beach, Fla. The average income there was $2.5 million in 2015.
