BERNARDSVILLE, NJ -- The first New Jersey home designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright is for sale. The property, known as The Christie House, is located in Bernardsville. The Usonian house was built in 1940 and is the first of four homes in New Jersey designed by Wright. One of those homes has been relocated, leaving just three in the Garden State.
The property, which features three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, was listed on Oct. 1, according to Realtor.com. It has been on and off the market since 2016, when it was listed at $2.2 million, according to Zillow.
The asking price is just shy of $1.5 million. The annual taxes on the seven-acre Jockey Hollow Road property are $24,573.
