Pedestrian Hit By Passing Car While Exiting Vehicle On I-78: Cops
A man was hit by a passing vehicle as he was getting out of his car following a 3-car crash on I-78 in Bedminster on Sunday night: Police.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — A man was hit by a passing vehicle as he was getting out of his car following a three-car crash on I-78 in Bedminster on Sunday night, police said.
At 11:43 p.m. a Honda Accord was driving on the eastbound side of I-78 near milepost 28.7 in Bedminster when it was hit by a tractor trailer causing it spin out, New Jersey State Trooper Charles Marchan.
The Honda moved from the left lane into the shoulder, however a portion of the car was still in the roadway. As the people inside the Honda were getting out, one of the passengers — a man — was hit by a passing a black BMW SUV, Marchan said.

The man, who was not identified, suffered a minor leg injury, Marchan said.
No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
