Power Restored At Bernards High School Following Outage
Power has been restored at Bernards High School in Bernardsville following an outage due to a downed power line outside the high school.
BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — Power has been restored at Bernards High School in Bernardsville following an outage due to a downed power line outside the high school, the district announced Monday.
The power was restored as of 11:15 a.m. and the outage reported at 10:50 a.m., according to the Somerset Hills Regional School District.
The building was still heated and students were attending classes as scheduled. Lunches will be served as planned with a limited menu.

Students will be dismissed at their regularly scheduled times.

Last Monday, Feb. 25, Bernards Township also had a similar power issue following the severe wind. It caused three schools in the district Ridge High School, William Annin Middle School and Cedar Hill Elementary School in Basking Ridge to be without power.
