Rash Of Vehicles Burglaries Plague Bedminster Residents
Some vehicles were stolen and items were stolen from others, Bedminster police said.
BEDMINSTER, NJ —Several vehicles were stolen and burglarized earlier this month in Bedminster, police said.
Police received reports about the incidents on the morning of Nov. 7. Several vehicles were rummaged through and cash, sunglasses, clothes, a wallet, and other items were taken, police said.
A 2014 BMW X3 was reported stolen from an Old Stonehouse Road home on Nov. 7. The owner last saw it at 10 p.m. the previous night. It was unlocked and the keys were on the dashboard; $500 worth of clothes were in the vehicle, police said.

Two vehicles were stolen from a Larger Cross Road home overnight. A 2018 BMW 750 and a 2018 GMC Yukon were stolen. They were unlocked and the keys were inside them. The vehicles were found in Newark on Nov. 7, police said.
Three unlocked vehicles were burglarized at Larger Cross Road home. Two were parked in the driveway and one in the garage. A pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, $300, and a Leatherman multi-tool were stolen, police said.

A Patagonia coat and a wallet were stolen from a burglarized unlocked vehicle at a Ski Hill Drive home, police said.
Vehicles were also burglarized on Stonehouse Drive and Larger Cross Road.
Someone tried sealing a 2017 Honda Civic out of a Fowler Road out of a three-car garage overnight. The suspect crashed the vehicle into the garage door frame, and the vehicle was lodged in the garage on the passenger side. That vehicle was unlocked and the keys were in the center console. Another unlocked vehicle there was rummaged through, but nothing was taken.
Police reminded residents to lock their vehicles, garages, and homes, and to not leave keys and valuables inside vehicles.
