Somerset County Bank Picks Crops to Fight Hunger in New Jersey

Peapack-Gladstone Bank employees picked crops with America's Grow-a-Row to benefit those in need within the Garden State.

Peapack-Gladstone Bank takes pride in supporting hundreds of non-profit groups and organizations throughout the State of New Jersey each and every year.

The bank understands the importance of contributing to society and improving the lives of those who live within our municipalities. In focusing on the hunger crisis that faces as many as 12% of New Jersey residents, the bank has formed an alliance with America’s Grow-a-Row. Based in Pittstown, New Jersey, the organization grows and harvests thousands of pounds of fresh produce each year to provide for those who do not have the means to purchase healthy, fresh produce.

America’s Grow-a-Row donates its harvests to New Jersey food banks and pantries, soup kitchens and other local agencies.

To assist Grow-a-Row’s initiative in the production of healthy fruits and vegetables, Peapack-Gladstone Bank employees recently rolled up their sleeves at both the Pittstown and Milford farms harvesting hundreds of pounds of peaches and corn.
