"Survival of the Fittest" - Performance at Bernardsville Library

Lots of activities at Bernardsville Public Library during the month of August!

Eyes of the Wild by Wallaby Tales will bring a performance with live animals to Bernardsville Public Library on Monday, August 15 at 7:00 pm. Aimed at children ages six and up, the show is called "Survival of the Fittest" and demonstrates how resourceful, alert, and adaptable animals must be to survive in the circle of life. It's a comical and, at the same time, educational program, and it's the culmination of a series of Monday evening events which have entertained families at the library throughout the summer.

Weekly story times led by staff of the Library's Youth Services Department will continue through the end of August. Check the library's website for where to meet for "Traveling Tales," a story time session for children ages three and up in a different town venue each Tuesday at 2:00 pm through August 30. There will also be "Breakfast with Books" at Burger King for families on Thursdays, August 18 through September 1 at 10:00 am. Friday Fun brings a new library adventure every Friday morning at 10:30 am for children of all ages with activities ranging from painting to music to dancing and tumbling. And every Saturday morning, there is another story time for children of all ages at 10:30 am.

There is no charge to attend any of these programs, and no sign-up is needed to attend. Call the library at 908-766-0118 for further information.
