Visiting Poets Read at Bernardsville Library
Come join in and support these inspiring local poets for an evening of literary enjoyment. Open mic too!

As part of the Visiting Poets’ Series, and in recognition of April as National Poetry Month, Deborah Gerrish and Joe Weil will be the featured poets reading at the Bernardsville Library on Wednesday April 18th at 7:00 pm. The reading will be followed by an Open Mic. Come join in and support these inspiring local poets for an evening of literary enjoyment.
Deborah Gerrish is a teacher and award-winning poet. Her poems have been widely published in magazines and anthologies. She is the author of three collections of poems, her latest being "Light in Light," published in 2017 by Resource Publications, "The Language of Paisley," and her chapbook, "The Language of Rain." She teaches poetry in the FILL Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and organizes readings for Visiting Poets. She resides in Murray Hill, NJ.
Joe Weil is a poet, story teller, essayist, musician, and poetry activist who has jumpstarted many poetry publications on line and in print as well as appearing in dozens of magazines. Weil has published three chapbooks and five full length collections of poetry, the latest being "A Night in Duluth" by NYQ books. He is currently an assistant professor at Binghamton University. He lives in Binghamton, New York.
