Wee Little Arts Offers Video Documentary Class at Willow

New class for young filmmakers, open to the public

Willow is excited to offer a special after school video documentary class from Wee Little Arts, open to the public! This after school program for middle school students (Grades 6-8) starts on November 28, 2018 and runs through March 6, 2019.

Students will study the forms, styles, and techniques of documentary filmmaking, such as Cinema Verite, Reality TV and Essay Form. They will learn and practice story structure, cinematography, and editing techniques to help them tell their stories effectively. Students will be using their iPhones or any smartphone camera to document and record what interests them in real life and will learn how to edit their videos using their computer or smartphones to express their ideas. These short documentary films will be the final project of the class!

Register on the Wee Little Arts website by November 20. Class is from 3:15pm-4:30pm at Willow, which is located at 1150 Pottersville Rd in Gladstone, NJ.
