Do you or anyone in your family work for the state, county or local governments? I am a commissioner on the Ocean County Board of Taxation.

Why are you seeking office? To serve my district.

What do you feel is the most pressing issue facing the community, and what do you want to do about it? The 10th Legislative District is a great district, but like every district in New Jersey taxes are too high, planning and development are serving the greed of developers and not the desires of residents, we have a pervasive opioid crisis, and lackluster performance ratings of our schools, despite the hard work of our devoted teachers. These are very serious issues that are not easily resolved but I plan to focus every ounce of energy I have on trying to find solutions.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking to serve? I am seeking office to serve my district not to use my position as Assemblyman Greg McGuckin has to acquire 30 public jobs to enrich myself.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform. It's time to elect leaders who are committed to serving the needs of the people. Leaders who put service to the community above personal enrichment. Legislative District 10 needs elected officials in Trenton who are there to represent and fight for them.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you will be effective in office? I have owned and maintained my own business since the age of 22. I serve on various boards, foundations and nonprofit organizations. I am the past VP of Finance, VP of Membership and past president of the Toms River Regular Republican Club. I am the past vice chairwoman of the Ocean County Federation of Republican Woman. County Committee Woman, Ocean County Municipal Committee. Current board member and past VP of the Ocean Board of Taxation, appointed by both Democrat and Republican governors.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions? Although the issues facing our district are complex and not easily resolved I am optimistic that together with the right leadership and determination we can accomplish anything. Once elected I will work tirelessly to find solutions to these issues and to enact legislation that will enhance the quality of life for our residents. I will not take your support for granted. You can count on me to fight for you in Trenton.
