2 Arrested In Shots Fired Incident In Brick: Police

An 18-year-old and a juvenile were arrested in the incident in the Sawmill area, police said. The investigation is continuing.

BRICK, NJ — Two people have been arrested in connection with a report of shots fired in the area of Sawmill Road on Monday afternoon, Brick police said Tuesday.

Nasir Williams, 18, and a juvenile were arrested in the incident that happened about 1 p.m. Monday in the area of Sawmill and Creek roads, Brick Sgt. Jim Kelly said. A weapon was found by investigators Monday, he said.

Williams was charged with obstruction of the administration of justice and taken to the Ocean County Jail, Kelly said.

The juvenile was charged with obstruction, possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a juvenile, and hindering apprehension. The juvenile was taken to the Ocean County Juvenile Detention Center, he said.
