Bayside Park Receives Award For Aesthetic Design
Brick Township has received an award honoring the excellent design and aesthetic of Bayside Park.

BRICK, NJ – Brick Township has received an award honoring the excellent design and aesthetic of Bayside Park.
The Excellence in Design Awards are presented to recreation and parks facilities that are intended for public use and are judged based on elements of aesthetic quality, uniqueness of design, usability and versatility, and compliance with the New Jersey Barrier Free Recreation sub-code.
The park was presented with the award at the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association Annual Awards Ceremony at the Summit Family Aquatic Center in Summit on Wednesday.

In 2021, Bayside Park suffered extensive damage from Super Storm Sandy, when it was used as a staging and recovery area for beach replenishment projects. The Bayside Park project was again delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, as the shipping of equipment needed for the work was delayed.
The renovation of Bayside Park was funded through the Township's Capital Improvement Program.

The park now offers a variety of recreational opportunities that appeal to all ages, such as playgrounds, bait stations, cornhole games and more.
