UPDATED: Brick Area Closings Due to Snow Storm

As of noon Friday:

All branches of the Ocean County Library will be closed Friday due to the overnight snowstorm. Previously, the library had announced a 1 p.m. delayed opening but since decided to keep all of its branches closed.

Additionally, a blood drive that had been scheduled to take place at the Ocean County Mall on Friday has been cancelled. The mall itself opened at 10 a.m. Friday, though Simon Properties, the mall's owner, said individual stores could be setting their own hours.

Ocean County College has closed Friday.

Brick Township Schools are closed Friday. 

All Brick Municipal Offices will have a delayed opening today. Offices will open at 10am. Also, Garbage and Recycling collection for Friday has been postponed until Saturday.

The Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) is closed on Friday. 

St. Dominic's is closed. Today's bingo is canceled as well.

Brick Board of Education has rescheduled its meeting to Jan. 8.

All Brick Schools afterschool activities from 5 p.m. onward Thursday are canceled.
