
The Brick Township basketball league run by the township recreation department will start the season with a players versus coaches game Saturday.
The Court Jesters "Comedy Basketball Team" will play the Brick Recreation Coaches at Brick Memorial High School, 2 p.m. Nov. 30. The Jesters are comprised of former accomplished players who are promising some showmanship as they battle the coaches in this special opening game.

The Brick Township Department of Parks and Recreation will kick off their 2013-2014 Basketball League on Saturday, November 30 with a tip-off ceremony at 2pm at Brick Memorial High School, 2001 Lanes Mill Road. Opening day will conclude with a special basketball game featuring The Court Jesters Comedy Basketball Team versus Brick Recreation Coaches.
“With over 720 participants, our basketball program is our most popular youth sports program,” said Mayor Stephen C. Acropolis. “Opening day is going to be a great start to another season of Recreation Basketball.”

Following the opening day tip-off ceremonies, The Court Jesters Comedy Basketball Team will take on Brick Recreation Coaches in a game that is sure to entertain. The Court Jesters is made up of highly talented former college and pro basketball players with great showmanship skills. They will dazzle the audience with their amazing skills and antics whole providing countless laughs and excitement to young and old alike.
Tickets for The Court Jesters vs. Brick Recreation Coaches are available for purchase at the Brick Township Recreation Office, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
