Brick Council Set To Meet Tuesday

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday evening via Zoom, and the agenda includes a request to Ocean County officials to address issues with the Route 88 bridge over the Beaver Dam Creek.

The council agenda (read it here) includes the acceptance of several grants the township receives annually, and an extension of the agreement with Ocean County to receive funding for pandemic-related expenses from the county.

The council also is being asked to approve a resolution for a $776,000 roof replacement at the township's municipal building, and a resolution asking the state Department of Transportation to move forward with a project to address the ailing Route 88 bridge over the Beaver Dam Creek.
