Brick Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat Coming Up; Send Treats!

The annual Halloween Spooktacular and trunk-or-treat event is accepting doantions of candy.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township's annual Trunk or Treat Halloween Spooktacular is coming up,and the township is looking for generous folks to contribute to the sweet treats for the children.

The Halloween Spooktacular is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25 at the Drum Point Sports Complex, behind Drum Point Elementary School.

More than 100 trunks already have been registered for the event, which is scheduled to run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In addition to the treats, there will be a hayride and a costume parade.

Prizes are awarded for best costumes and best decorated vehicles.

For more information, call the Brick Township Recreation Department at 732-262-1044. If you'd like to donate candy, you can drop it off at the Recreation Department office at Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, until noon on Oct. 25.
