Brick To Honor Fallen At Memorial Day Parade
Those who gave their lives in service to the United States will be honored at Monday's parade.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township will honor men and women who died in military service with its annual Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 27.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 10.a m.
Part of Route 70 and Chambers Bridge Road for the duration of the parade, which ends at the Brick Township municipal building on Chambers Bridge Road. The closure of westbound Route 70 from Brick Boulevard to Chambers Bridge Road and Chambers Bridge from Route 70 to Route 88 on the east side of the barrier is anticipated to be in place from 9 a.m. to noon.

Participants can gather in the former Foodtown parking lot for the parade.
At the municipal building a service will be held to honor the memories of those who died as a result of combat.

Brick also recently honored its service members who died in combat zones with banners and plaques placed on the light poles at Windward Beach Park. Eighteen men from Brick, who served from the Civil War to the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, are honored. Read more: New Banners Honor Brick's Fallen Military Heroes
