Brick Man Charged With Distributing Child Pornography
Luis Castaneda-Contreras, 33, had multiple devices with images of child sexual assault on them at his home, the prosecutor's office said.
BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man is facing child pornography charges after authorities found multiple devices with images of sexual abuse of children in his home, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced.
Luis Castaneda-Contreras, 33, of Brick, was arrested Wednesday at his job in Middletown Township and charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Castaneda-Contreras was arrested after an investigation prompted by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The task force identified a person in Ocean County as distributing child pornography via the internet. Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit identified Castaneda-Contreras’ home as the source of the uploaded images.
Detectives searched his home Wednesday and seized multiple electronic devices that contained images of child pornography, Billhimer said.

Castaneda-Contreras in being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
