If you have plans for Friday evening, be prepared for extra traffic around town.
BRICK, NJ — If you are making plans for Friday evening in Brick, you might want to plan extra travel time around town: the Brick Township Schools will be celebrating graduation.
The Classes of 2021 at Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School are scheduled to have their commencement ceremonies, with Brick Township at 4 p.m. and Brick Memorial at 6 p.m.
For residents who are new to the area, Chambers Bridge Road will see heavier traffic starting around 3 p.m., and that traffic likely will continue into the evening as summer shore visitors start to arrive.

Across town, graduation coincides with the heart of rush hour, so Burnt Tavern Road, Lanes Mill Road and nearby feeder roads will have heavy traffic from families, commuters and summer visitors arriving.
If you don't have to be out driving around, you may want to stay home and avoid the traffic.
