Brick Police Offer Active Shooter Training To Businesses

BRICK, NJ — With mass shootings seemingly happening at possible site, including businesses, the Brick Township Police Department is offering a free training event to help township businesses understand how to respond if they're faced with an active shooter incident.

The event is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Brick Township PAL building on Drum Point Road and is being held in conjunction with the Brick Township Chamber of Commerce. Registration in advance is required through the Chamber of Commerce website.

The training session will offer information gathered from the Office of Homeland Security, the Secret Service, and the FBI as well as Brick Township police and is open to all township businesses.
