Brick Police Seize Cocaine, Arrest 2 In Drug Probe
Street Crimes Unit detectives seized 30 grams of cocaine, 26 grams of crack and an unspecified amount of cash in the search, police said.
BRICK, NJ — Authorities seized crack and cocaine and arrested two people following a three-month drug investigation in the township, Brick police said Thursday.
David Gonzalez, 32, of Brick, and Joshua Gonzalez, 31, of East Windsor, both have been charged with possession with intent to distribute after detectives with the Brick Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit executed a “knock and announce” search warrant on Tuesday at the Maple Leaf Park complex on Sawmill Road, Patrol Officer Victoria Finelli said.
During the search detectives seized 30 grams of cocaine, 26 grams of crack and an unspecified amount of cash that was believed to be the proceeds of the drug distribution, she said.
David Gonzalez was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and crack, possession of cocaine and crack, possession of paraphernalia and tampering with evidence, she said.

Joshua Gonzalez was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and crack, possession of cocaine and crack, and possession of paraphernalia, Finelli said.
Both men were taken to the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, pending detention hearings.
