Brick School Calendar 2018-19: First Day of School, Vacations

BRICK, NJ — The first day of school in Brick is September 5— and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Brick District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/5 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal (Thanksgiving Recess)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)
• 11/28 - 11/29: Early Dismissal (Parent/Teacher Conferences)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day, Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/30 - 1/31: High School Exams

February

• 2/1: No School (Staff Professional Development Day)
• 2/15 - 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day Long Weekend)

March

• 4/19 - 4/26: No School (Spring Break)
