Brick Schools Shift To Remote Instruction Due To Winter Storm

District officials said classes will be held but a significant snow accumulation could lead to a regular snow day.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township School District is shifting to remote instruction for Monday due to the forecast for the winter storm moving into New Jersey on Sunday.

The district said the decision to shift to remote learning is an effort to maintain instruction, which has been disrupted during the pandemic.

Brick Schools officials said elementary and middle school students should follow a Monday schedule, while pre-kindergarten and high school students will follow the Frday schedule.

"If significant snowfall accumulation occurs, school could be canceled altogether," and a traditional snow day would be called, the letter said. Parents were urged to check the district's website for updates.
