Brick Township Throwing A Party For Its 170th Birthday
The township will be hosting its annual birthday celebration with cake, acitivities and more. It's a free event for families.
BRICK, NJ — If you love birthday parties, Brick Township is hosting one in February — to celebrate 170 years of its incorporation.
The annual Brick Township Birthday Party is scheduled for 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. It is free and children of all ages and their families are welcome, the township said.
The party is hosted by the Mayor’s Teen Advisory Council, known as "The Society" in Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School.

"Acknowledging our town’s history is very important and we are looking forward to celebrating Brick’s 170th birthday," Mayor John Ducey said. "This event will bring the community together to celebrate what we have grown into over the past 170 years and what makes our community such a special place to call home."
The event, scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., will include activities, entertainment and cake.
