Caregiver Volunteers receives major grant!

Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey Receives $10,000 Major Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation

Toms River, NJ – Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) announced today that it has been awarded a Major Grant in the amount of $10,000 from the Provident Bank Foundation to support significant upgrades to their programs and volunteer management technology, initiated in response to COVID-19.

Caregiver Volunteers was selected to receive Provident Bank Foundation’s Major Grant, based on its community impact in supporting the aging population in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. Megan O’Keefe, Executive Director remarked, “The extended effects of COVID-19 have propelled us to adapt our programs to ensure the health and safety of our care recipients, volunteers and staff. This funding from our long-time supporter, Provident Bank Foundation, will help us make significant changes, enabling us to assist more individuals now and support capacity-building and increase impact, as we continue to support the growing needs of our seniors in Monmouth and Ocean counties.”

“We are pleased to help further valuable initiatives put forth by local organizations who are working every day to strengthen the lives of residents in our communities,” said Samantha Plotino, Executive Director, The Provident Bank Foundation. “We will continue to provide support to these important organizations that have identified an immediate need in the community and for the individuals they serve.”
