Crash On Parkway In Brick, Toms River Area Causing Delays

BRICK – Police were investigating a crash on the Garden State Parkway on Friday evening.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway.

The crash occurred southbound on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River. In the area of milepost 86, a GMC Yukon was involved in a crash with a Mercedes Benz, police said.

There were no serious injuries and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Delays were reported on the Garden State Parkway southbound from Brick through Toms River, according to the Ocean County Sheriff's Department.
