Crashes Close 2 Roads In Brick

BRICK, NJ ? Route 88 and Mantoloking Road are both closed Friday afternoon due to motor vehicle crashes, authorities said.

Route 88 is closed between Jack Martin Boulevard and Van Zile Road, Brick Township police said.

The closure is in both directions, according to the state Department of Transportation website 511nj.org.

The NJDOT notice said there are injuries in that crash, which happened before 2 p.m. according to alerts from Brick police. No information was immediately available about the extent of the injuries.

The alert about the Mantoloking Road closure at Old Hooper Avenue was sent about 2:40 p.m. by Brick police. No information on that crash was immediately available.
