David Bowie Tribute Concert Rescheduled In Seaside Heights

Thunderstorms forced the postponement and officials announced a new date. Read on for all the information.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Hallo Spaceboy, Changes are happening for Thursday's Child and everyone else who had planned to head out to Seaside Heights for the David Bowie tribute concert by Ray Anderson's David Bowie and Beyond.

The concert has been postponed because Wild Is the Wind and so are Thursday's thunderstorms, Seaside Heights officials tweeted.

Whether you are Absolute Beginners in your fandom of the late British singer or his music has been a Fantasic Voyage, you'll just have to wait with All the Madmen. It won't be Five Years before Young Americans and those in their Golden Years will be able to enjoy the Sound And Vision of the man who Set the World On Fire. And it won't be Black Tie White Noise; it will leave you with a Memory of a Free Festival instead of No Plan.

(P.S. Hope you got a laugh out of this, dear readers; it made my work as The Informer more entertaining. But just remember, you're not the Boss of Me! And no, I wasn't Born in a UFO, I'm just a Rebel Rebel who didn't feel like writing a Letter to Hermione.)

See you on the beach.
