Finding Time and Money for Your Health?
If it seems like days and funds get shorter and shorter, here's some tips on making your health goals a priority!
Many of us can relate to having to start over...it's so frustrating, and at times you can beat yourself up over why you had a setback. It's natural...but it doesn't have to remain a part of your life! You can get going and keep going? HOW?
* time is on short supply
*money is even shorter supply

Here's some things to think about:
Take an inventory of your current level of satisfaction with your overall health, fitness and wellness.
What would you like to change?
What would be the ONE thing that would make all the difference?
How would reaching this ONE goal change your life?
What's holding you back from reaching it?
Sometimes taking a hard look at what holds us back reveals that it's mainly excuses. We get into the habit of saying, "I can't do it" or "I just don't have the time", or "I'm too busy taking care of everyone else!" or "I don't have the money"
Can you find 45 minutes a day? Can you find the means?
We have all been guilty of spending too much time on our phone - hours maybe, on social media! There's time for seeing what EVERYONE ELSE is doing, then there's time for you! Does that sound like something you could do?
*Spend less time on social media- a "diet" from our phones!
*Get up and out early before your day "starts"!
*Put it into your schedule, make it part of your routine!
What about money? We've all gone into the store for ONE thing, and walked out almost $100 dollars lighter!!! Did we really NEED any of that stuff? Do I need to drive thru for coffee every day? That's about $2 to 5 dollars a day. Over the month that adds up to $60- 100 and that's $700 to $1,200 a year for COFFEE!! I'm less likely to spend actual cash in my wallet, while I'm very quick to swipe my card because I don't THINK about it as much!
Finding the funds, might just be making an adjustment in monetary priorities! Would giving that expense up enable you to afford to take care of yourself?
*Nickle and dime yourself into debt- the small, unnecessary items add up!
*Stop and think- do I NEED this? Am I really just bored, tired, hungry, stressed?
*Does my health insurance reimburse for gym memberships? Call them! It's "free" money!
So there is a solution if we are willing to find one. Our Health is not a DESTINATION and we don't just arrive at health and wellness and it ends there. It's an ongoing, necessary part of a vital life! Some small changes can add up to very big results if we know ahead of time what obstacles we have, and work around them!
*Schedule time for yourself
*Watch mindless spending
*Get up & get going! One day at a time!
