Funeral Services Set For Brick Township Police Officer

Kristopher DeMarco died Saturday after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

BRICK, NJ -- Funeral services have been set for Wednesday and Thursday for a Brick Township police officer who died Saturday.

Visiting hours for the family of Kristopher DeMarco will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road in Toms River, which is handling the arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, followed by burial at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

DeMarco, 38, a 1995 Brick Memorial High School graduate and an 12-year member of the Brick Township Police Department, died after a battle with pancreatic cancer, according to WOBM.com. He was born in Belleville and lived in Brick most of his life before moving to Toms River two years ago, according to his obituary.

He is survived by his parents, Victoria and John DeMarco; two brothers, John and Steven DeMarco; his grandmother, Patricia DeMarco, a niece, Cady DeMarco, and nephew, Charles DeMarco. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
