If you're thinking about adding a pet to your family, the Northern Ocean Animal Shelter has animals who need forever homes.
Patch is featuring one each week, and this week's pet is Gloria.
Gloria is a 3-year-old domestic shorthaired cat. She is small, weighing about 7 pounds.

"Gloria is a sweet and petite kitty! She loves to be pet, and is very affectionate," the shelter's description says. "She enjoys birdwatching out of the windows too! Gloria would make a wonderful companion for almost any family!"
Gloria is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Go see Gloria and the other pets seeking homes at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Ave., Jackson. The shelter is open seven days a week for adoptions from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is open until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
