Here's an early look at the Memorial Day Weekend forecast for the Jersey Shore. Hoping for SUN!

Forecasters say a much-needed dry-up is on the way for the area after days of excessive rainfall. But will the sunshine linger through Memorial Day Weekend?
Some dryer conditions are expected to finish off this weekend, AccuWeather says, noting Sunday will be less soggy than Saturday. However, we should expect the chance of some additional showers throughout the day. More showers and thunderstorms are possible even Monday into Tuesday.
The good news is, the number of showers and thunderstorms to pass through the mid-Atlantic region will decrease by midweek. Temperatures will also rise.
