Motorcyclist Injured In Beaverson Boulevard Crash: Brick Police
Lukas August, 26, of Brick, was thrown from his motorcycle as a result of the crash, police said.

BRICK, NJ ? A Brick man was injured Friday afternoon in a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on Beaverson Boulevard, Brick Township police said Saturday.
Lukas August, 26, suffered internal injuries when he was thrown from his motorcycle as a result of the impact of the crash, Brick Patrolman David Thergesen said. August was taken to Jersey Shore University Medicl Center, Neptune, for treatment, he said.
The crash happened about 3:15 p.m., Thergesen said. August was driving 2006 Harley-Davidson Soft Tail motorcycle west in the right lane of Beaverson Boulevard. Lucy Marie Cramer-Haplin, 70, of Lakewood, was driving a 2018 GMC Terrain east on Beaverson Boulevard and was making a left turn onto Old Toms River Road when the collision happened, with August's motorcycle hitting the right front wheel area of the Terrain, he said.

Cramer-Haplin was not injured, he said.
Brick Township Police Department patrol units and Emergency Medical Services responded, as did the Traffic Safety Unit.

One lane west on Beaverson Boulevard was closed for about two hours while the crash was investigated, he said.
