Murder Charge Filed In Death Of Brick Man Found Behind Store

Sean Reynolds of Brick was stabbed to death, Burlington County officials said; a Mount Holly man is accused of killing him, they said.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ ? A Mount Holly man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a Brick Township man whose body was found behind a convenience store on Tuesday.

An autopsy performed on Sean Reynolds, 31, of Brick, showed he had been stabbed multiple times, Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood said.

Reynolds' body was found Tuesday afternoon behind Millerie?s Market & Deli at the corner of Rancocas Road and King Street in Mount Holly, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Holly Police Chief Richard Spitler said.

Jimir Wynn, 29, of Mount Holly, has been charged with first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and fourth-degree certain persons not to possess weapons, Coffina said.

Coffina said the initial investigation showed Reynolds had been killed Monday night, and had been with Wynn near Wynn?s home earlier that evening.

The motive for the slaying is still being investigated, Coffina said.

Wynn is being held at the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly. He is scheduled for a first appearance Saturday in Superior Court, the prosecutor's office said.

The Westampton Police Department, Pemberton Township Police Department, and Burlington County Sheriff?s Department assisted in the investigation. The lead investigators are Detective Brian Cunningham of the prosecutor's office and Mount Holly Detective Nicholas Dell-Priscoli.
