Pedestrian Struck On Route 70 In Brick: Authorities
The state Department of Transportation traffic website, 511nj.org, said the road remained closed late Monday night.
BRICK, NJ — Authorities were still investigating late Monday night after a pedestrian was hit on Route 70, authorities said.
Brick Township police issued a Nixle alert about 7 p.m. that said Route 70 was closed in both directions from Jack Martin Boulevard to Route 88.
The state Department of Transportation's traffic website, 511nj.org, showed the road remained closed as of 1 a.m. and said the crash involved a pedestrian.

It was not clear when Route 70 would reopen.
