RWJ Barnabas Hospitals Offer COVID-19 Vaccines For Teens
The hospital network says it has appointments available for families wishing to get their 12- to 15-year-olds vaccinated against COVID-19.
NEW JERSEY — Parents looking for places to get their 12- to 15-year-old children vaccinated against COVID-19 can get appointments through RWJ Barnabas Health's hospitals, the health care corporation announced.
"With community partners, RWJBarnabas Health is currently offering COVID-19 vaccines at our hospitals, the Middlesex County Mega-Site (NJ Convention and Expo Center) and other affiliated sites," officials said in a news release.
That includes Community Medical Center in Toms River and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, along with RWJ Barnabas hospitals across New Jersey.

The federal Food and Drug Administration on Monday authorized the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12 to 15. Prior to Monday, the Pfizer two-shot vaccine had been authorized for those 16 and older under the FDA's emergency use authorization.
RWJBarnabas Health officials said the hospital system is equipped to vaccinate 12- to 15-year-olds. Parents wishing to vaccinate their children in this age group can register online here.
