Brick Updates 2021 SummerFest Schedule
The 2021 concerts and fireworks are getting a delayed start due to uncooperative weather, officials said.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials have updated the planned SummerFest concert and fireworks schedule after a storm disrupted the first night of the 2021 season.
Super Trans Am, which was scheduled to appear, now is scheduled to perform at Windward Beach Park on July 29, Brick officials said.
The Accuweather forecast is calling for thunderstorms to start moving into the area about 6 p.m. and continue until late in the evening.

The concert series now will kick off next week with the Amish Outlaws. The SummerFest crowd favorite performs an eclectic mix of music and the crowd is always guessing what will come next.

July 15: The Nerds. The Nerds, called "America's Rock & Roll Fun-omenon," have been together since 1985 and have played all over North America. When you attend a Nerds show, you will enjoy an experience of sheer entertainment with what critics call the best cover band in the world.
July 22: Tribute to '80s and '90s. This show will feature two sets – one with '80s Nite and the best hits of the 1980s and one featuring Nine Deeez Nite – the nation's No. 1 '90s Tribute Show. Check it out to see which decade's music is the champ!
July 29: Super Trans Am. They play your favorite arena anthems and chart-topping radio hits of the 1970s from artists such as Eagles, Hall & Oates, Queen, the Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, KISS, Boston, Journey and more.
Windward Beach Park opens for SummerFest at 6 p.m. and the concerts begin about 7 p.m., with the fireworks following each concert. A food court is open during concerts and features a variety of foods. There is also a beer and wine garden for those 21 or older. A valid ID is required to enter the beer and wine garden.
In addition to the concerts, SummerFest 2021 will feature several family-friendly events. They are:
- Aug. 5: SummerFest Car Show hosted by the Time Capsule Cruisers
- Aug. 6: Drive-In Movie featuring Back to the Future
- Aug. 13: Drive-In Movie featuring Abominable
- Aug. 20: Drive-In Movie featuring The Avengers
- Aug. 27: Drive-In Movie featuring Tom and Jerry
The car show begins at 6 p.m. and the food court will be open. The drive-in movies begin at dusk.
