Brick's Trader Joe's Opening Date Announced
We know you've been (mostly patiently) waiting for this news. Giveaways, tastings and more are planned for Trader Joe's grand opening.

BRICK, NJ — Trader Joe's fans, rejoice: The Brick Township store is opening this week.
The company announced the store's grand opening is set for Thursday. The celebration begins at 9 a.m. and will include giveaways, tastings, music and more, company officials said.
There will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting and the celebration will continue throughout the morning. Store Captain Casey Latsko, a 13-year veteran of the company, and Trader Joe’s crew members will be on hand to welcome customers to the store in Brick Plaza, at Chambers Bridge Road and Route 70. It is in the former Ethan Allen store site on the southwest corner of the main plaza, nearest to Route 70.

It's the first new grocery store in town since the closing of Pathmark and A&P several years ago. Word that it was coming to Brick first got out in April, when the company sought permits to renovate the former Ethan Allen store.
Trader Joe’s, which started in 1967 in the Los Angeles area, has nearly 500 stores in 41 states and Washington, D.C.
